The State Service of Emergency Situations Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) informs that in the period from June 28 to July 4, 2021, 725 calls were registered in the 911 call center of the State Service of Emergency Situation of Artsakh.
The number of fires has increased compared to the previous week. Of the 34 calls recorded, 3 occurred in dumps, the other 31 in dry grasslands, orchards and uncultivated areas adjacent to fields. The fire rescuers of the Rescue Forces Department responded to all the calls and carried out firefighting work on time. It should be noted that the harvest of grain crops continues in the territory of the Artsakh. The firefighters of the regional emergency departments are carrying out an intensified service on a 24-hour basis in the planned bases.
During the seven-day period, four calls were registered about the traffic accident, six citizens were injured. The rescuers and the doctors on duty of Ambulance Station CJSC provided first aid to the injured and took them to medical institutions.
During the week, the work of finding and destroying weapons and ammunition, unexploded ordnance and life-threatening ammunition continued. The sappers of the service together with partner organizations neutralized 57 cluster bombs, 3 grenade launchers, 180 small-caliber ammunition, 2 hand grenades, and 2 aviation grenade launchers last week.
During the week, the rescuers provided technical assistance to 37 citizens. Water was supplied to the residents of 3 communities of Askeran region, 13 calls were registered regarding the opening of a door and an elevator.
The number of snake detections has decreased compared to the previous week. In case of 2 registered calls, the reptiles appeared in the lands near the house. Rescuers found and moved to safe areas.
In order to search for the bodies of the killed servicemen, the operative groups of the special rapid reaction unit carried out 4 exits during the mentioned period. Seven bodies were found in the occupied territories of Artsakh. In total, rescuers evacuated 1,595 bodies after the ceasefire.
