Former United States president Donald Trump has revealed he has made a decision about running in the 2024 election, Sky News reports.
Mr. Trump was questioned about his future plans by Fox News host Sean Hannity at a town hall meeting at South Texas International Airport on Wednesday.
"Let me ask the crowd of everybody here, would you like to see the president run again in 2024," Hannity asked those in attendance at the town hall.
He turned to Mr. Trump and asked: "Let me ask you this, without giving what the answer is, have you made up your mind?"
The 45th president declared: “Yes.”
Hannity later said to Mr. Trump: "If you move forward, you know how difficult it is, but you seem ready to re-engage in that battle".
Mr. Trump responded: “It's not that I want to.”
“The country needs it. We have to take care of this country. I don't want to, is this fun? Fighting constantly? Fighting always? I mean, the country, what we have done is so important.”
