Armenia will file a complaint against Azerbaijan to the ECHR

The Republic of Armenia is going to file a complaint against Azerbaijan to the European Court of Human Rights. The representative of the Republic of Armenia in the ECHR Yeghishe Kirakosyan informed Armenpress about this.

"We have been carrying out preparatory work for a long time - gathering evidence, assessing, preparing a complaint. We are going to file a complaint against Azerbaijan in the near future.

It will cover a wide range, from the protection of the rights of victims, the wounded, the displaced to the claims on lost and damaged property, which we think are quite numerous", said Kirakosyan.

According to him, the complaint will mention all violations of international law, including violations of international humanitarian law, which Azerbaijan committed during the war with methods and means prohibited during the war.
