As we reported earlier, the RA Minister of Foreign Affairs Ara Aivazian is having a working meeting in the NA Committee on Foreign Relations.
The Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Ruben Rubinyan reminded that the Minister was hosted in the NA a few days after the Moscow trilateral meeting. A statement was signed as a result of that meeting, the central point of which was the unblocking of regional communications.
"As it is known, there is no significant progress on the issue or prisoners of war and other detainees at the moment, and the purpose of our meeting today is to first analyze the results of the trilateral meeting and the signed statement, the further opportunities arising from it, and, of course, to discuss the steps aimed at the return of prisoners of war at the level of the executive power", Rubinyan said.
According to him, it is necessary to discuss together what parliamentary diplomacy can do in that direction.
