Putin called relations with Armenia allied

Moscow-Yerevan relations have been and will remain allied

After the trilateral meeting of the Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and the Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Putin also held bilateral meetings with Pashinyan and Aliyev.

"Our relations, of course, have been and will remain allied in all respects", Putin said during a meeting with Pashinyan, noting that Russia and Armenia have close partnerships also within international organizations.

"Today we discussed a number of economic issues. In this regard, I would like to note that, despite all the difficulties, we have increased trade by almost 4%",said the Russian President.

He expressed hope that with the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, the countries will find solutions that will meet the interests of the Armenian people, the state and Russian-Armenian relations.
