On December 30, the RA Minister of Defense Vagharshak Harutyunyan met with the relatives of the captured servicemen.
He presented the details of the process of repatriation of the captured servicemen, noting that in order to find a quick solution to the problem, the director of the Armenian National Security Service met with his Russian and Azerbaijani counterparts in Moscow to discuss issues related to the exchange of prisoners.
The RA Minister of Defense noted that active work in this direction continues with the leadership of the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Russian peacekeeping contingent. The personal files of the RA citizens in captivity have also been examined in the European Court of Human Rights.
Vagharshak Harutyunyan assured that the Ministry of Defense will make every effort to return the captives to the Republic of Armenia.
