The US Senate has passed a resolution on national defense, which allows CAATSA sanctions to be imposed on Turkey for acquiring Russian S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems. This was reported by Axios.
The US legislature passed the bill, although the US President Donald Trump had announced a veto on the resolution.
CAATSA sanctions impose restrictions on citizens of Iran, North Korea and Russia and their affiliates, as well as other persons, organizations and countries cooperating with them.
