Turkey should not be limited to words, but should take real actions that will improve the situation in a number of regions of the world and will have a positive impact on relations with the European Union. According to TASS, this opinion was expressed on Sunday by French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian in a speech on the French news channel LCI.
"The conciliatory statements made by President Erdogan over the last two or three days are absolutely not enough. We are waiting for real actions", said Le Drian. Among them, there are "very simple actions to be taken in the Mediterranean Sea and Libya, there are also simple actions in relation to Nagorno Karabakh", the minister said, stressing the importance of removing Syrian militants from that area, who were brought to the region by Turkey.
"We have many differences with Turkey", he said, referring to that country's "expansionist ambitions" in Libya and the Mediterranean, where "Turkey de facto is carrying out aggressive actions agains two EU member states".
"The EU summit will take place in December, during which the assessments of the events will be given", Le Drian said.
