The RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to Chinese President Xi Jinping on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. The message says:
"I warmly congratulate you on the 71st anniversary of the formation of the People's Republic of China.
Under your leadership, China was able to overcome the outbreak of COVID-19 and continues to fight against its consequences with firm steps, setting a shining example to the world and supporting friendly countries.
I attach great importance to the high-level dialogue and mutual assistance policy between our countries during the period of changes taking place in the international arena.
I remember with satisfaction my meeting and exchange of views during my visit to China last year. Desiring to deepen and expand the existing bilateral political, economic and cultural ties and showing new ways of cooperation, we outlined the path of development of our countries and closer bilateral ties. It is called to realize the wide potential of the Armenian-Chinese multi-sectoral cooperation within the framework of the important initiative "One Belt, One Road."
I am confident that the agreements we have reached will continue to be implemented for the benefit of our countries and for the benefit of the Armenian and Chinese peoples.
I wish You good health, new successes and all the best, and peace and prosperity to the friendly Chinese People".
