The RA Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan and the Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk, as co-chairs of the Armenian-Russian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation, discussed current issues of the Armenian-Russian bilateral agenda during video - conversation.
Deputy Prime Ministers of Armenia and Russia presented to each cother the situation in their countries with the spread of coronavirus infection and the results of measures to neutralize the consequences of the pandemic.
Both sides agreed to hold such discussions in this difficult situation. Taking the opportunity the RA Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan on behalf of the Government thanked the Russian Federation for its support, particularly in the field of healthcare.
In his turn the Russian Deputy Prime Minister noted that Russia will continue to support Armenia in the fight against the epidemic. During the working discussion, they also touched upon issues related to the cooperation between Armenia and Russia in the economic, industrial, transport, energy, humanitarian and financial spheres.
An agreement was reached to hold the 20th sitting of the Armenian-Russian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation in Armenia in the third quarter of this year.
