On March 30, the Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia Aram I once again anointed the Mother Church of Forty Martyrs in Aleppo. This cathedral from the V century had a national importance for the Armenian community in Syria and the Armenian Diaspora. In addition to serving as a church, it was also one of the biggest centers of education and publishing. The Armenian district was built around it.
