Toivo Klaar conveyed the EU position to settle the Karabakh conflict through peaceful negotiations.
The Defense Minister presented the situation on the line of contact and on the state border of Armenia to Toivo Klaar, EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus.
The Minister and the EU representative both emphasized the need of a proper reaction from the international community to provocative statements. Vigen Sargsyan stressed the EU’s balanced position in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement process and its political support to the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs, clearly expressed in the Armenia-EU Framework Agreement.
