“We have “bright” criminals in the National Assembly, who has great support from highest authorities,” Dallakyan remarked alluding to his political opponent.
After serving as Deputy Chief of Staff of Presidential Administration for many years, Victor Dallakyan has submitted his resignation: he is planning to quit Republican Party membership, aiming to get involved in active political life. During a press conference Dallakyan presented his political past, stating he has authored over 80 legislative amendments, has cooperated with all the three presidents, in the meantime criticizing them all.
As Victor Dallakyan issued a statement on his interest in engaging in politics, he actively started throwing stones at “Bright Armenia” Party Chairman Edmon Marukyan. As a recap, Dallakyan-Marukyan conflict was an old story: still back in 2012, both of them were competing during Parliamentary elections, however, based on the majority system at the 30 constituencies from Vanadzor, to everyone’s surprise Marukyan was appointed an MP.
