The Government shall then submit its action plan to National Assembly within 20 days.
Based on Article 55 of RA Constitution, President Serzh Sargsyan shall appoint a new Prime Minister within 10 days following Prime Minister’s resignation.
The new government is formed within 20 days following the resignation. The Government shall then submit its action plan to National Assembly within 20 days. In case the plan is denied, the government shall present another one. After RA president accepts government resignation, the existing government continues operation until the new government is formed.
