"The Victory Baton" which is among the events dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War reached Gyumri. The symbol will go along the border of Turkey and Iran where Russian soldiers guard the borders.The marathon is passed simultaneously in two directions.
The first one started from Brest. After passing the borders of Belarus it will be moved to the western borders of Russia and Armenia.This stage will be passed through the territory of Crimea, Kerch, Sevastopol, Simferopol and other places of heated battles of the Great Patriotic War.
The second direction starts from Murmansk, passes alongside the borders of Murmansk and Arkhangelsk regions and Russia's arctic coast.
