Another place of God opened its doors for the believers. The newly built church of Saint Grigor of Narek was anointed in Vaghashen community.
It towers over the village in the center near the 19th century semi-ruined basilica built by the Armenians from Alashkert, and medieval cemetery decorated with fine pieces of cross-stones.
The villagers are sure the new church will bring together thousands of residents of Vaghashen, to be more united and combined, full of faith towards the Holy See and the future of their homeland.
