The upcoming celebration of 23rd anniversary of the Independence started the previous day in Ahtarak.
Almost all the communities of the region set the tables full of courses for the passers-by to help themselves.
Some were offering their selected fruits and vegetables. The others came with honey, dried fruit or nuts. The rest had lavash from their ground-ovens and gatas. Everybody was trying to be more attractive and authentic with the local courses.
The party resembling a colourful fair was also summing up the agricultural year of the region. It is true the year was not good enough, but the positive level of total harvesting was not shaken.
