A group of MPs from the both of the assemblies of the French Parliament visited Stepanakert and Shushi. They had protocol meetings with the government of the state, visited the frontline and heard from our soldiers on border, imposing peace on the foe, about the Azerbaijani violations.
The issues of Artsakh – France relations, the questions related to the Nagorno - Karabakh regulation were discussed with Bako Sahakyan, the President of Artsakh.
Meeting with the French legislators Ashot Ghulyan, the President of the Artsakh National Assembly underscored that the authorities and the people of the NKR very much appreciate the mediatory mission by the Minsk Group of the OSCE in the negotiations with Azerbaijan. The head of the French delegation revealed the meaning of the mission in his greeting speech, which is to support a country which strives for freedom for over 20 years.
