Russia and Ukraine continue to exchange strikes. According to media reports, several major cities in Ukraine have come under missile attack. A large fire broke out in Zaporizhzhia. Port infrastructure and a residential complex were struck in the city and region of Odesa. An industrial facility was hit in Kryvyi Rih.
Meanwhile, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 230 Ukrainian drones overnight—including over the Astrakhan, Belgorod, Bryansk, Volgograd, Voronezh, Kursk, Lipetsk, Oryol, Penza, Rostov, Samara, and Saratov regions, as well as Crimea and the airspace over the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea. Media outlets also reported that a series of explosions occurred in the city of Taganrog, in the Rostov region. After that, fires broke out in the city.
