Ukraine's parliament approved the appointment of Yevhenii Khmara as new defence minister on Wednesday, Reuters reports.
President Volodymyr Zelenskiy nominated Khmara, whom he had earlier appointed as acting minister, after the ousting of Mykhailo Fedorov in July.
