In Sumy, a Russian-guided aerial bomb strike left one person dead and seven more injured.
According to Oleh Hryhorov, the head of the Sumy regional military administration, in a Telegram post, he later recalled the scale of the attack’s consequences.
"The number of those injured as a result of the Russian guided-bomb attack in Sumy has risen to four. Medics provided aid to three more injured on the spot," Oleh Hryhorov stated.
About 15 private houses were damaged.
Efforts to mitigate the attack’s consequences are ongoing.
The head of the regional military administration added that the Russian guided-bomb strike in the Sumy community caused the death of an elderly woman. Her body was found on the territory of a household that had sustained significant damage.
The 79-year-old woman sustained serious injuries and died on the scene.
