Armenia may be deprived of voting rights in the CSTO due to debts, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.
According to her, according to the organization’s charter, measures can be taken against a state if it fails to fulfill its obligations, in particular, if it has a two-year debt.
The measures also include suspending the right of citizens of a given state to run for quota positions, as well as depriving them of the right to vote in working bodies until the debts are fully repaid, Zakharova said.
