Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with German Federal Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul, the Foreign Ministry of Armenia reports.
The German Foreign Minister congratulated Ararat Mirzoyan on the democratic parliamentary elections held in Armenia on June 7 and the ruling party’s victory, reaffirming Germany’s support for Armenia’s democratic development and European integration path.
Subsequently, the interlocutors discussed Armenia-Germany bilateral partnership. In this connection, both sides emphasized the importance of joint work to implement the points on the declaration on the strategic partnership agenda signed in December last year.
Besides, the Armenian and German FMs exchanged views on the deepening of Armenia-EU strategic partnership.
The meeting touched upon regional developments, too.
In addition, FM Mirzoyan presented Armenia's vision regarding the process of normalizing the country’s relations with its neighbors.
