The agreement on the memorandum of understanding between Washington and Tehran is a victory for the Iranian people and a defeat for the United States in the more than 100-day war, the Central Headquarters of the Iranian Armed Forces announced on Monday morning, PressTV reported.
The statement came as the Iranian Foreign Ministry announced the completion of work on the memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States, which will be officially signed on Friday in Switzerland.
Earlier, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi confirmed that the text of the memorandum had been finalized and that, according to the document, the war and military operations on various fronts, including in Lebanon, as well as the US naval blockade of Iran, are being immediately and permanently stopped.
