Armenia remains our ally and strategic partner, therefore we have entirely legitimate questions regarding Armenia, Mikhail Galuzin has stated.
The Russian deputy foreign minister added that he was referring to rapprochement with the European Union, which supports Ukraine and pursues a hostile policy toward Russia.
“Rapprochement with the EU itself entails not only political but also economic risks for Armenia. Armenia has access to a huge market, a common market for goods, services, capital and labor. All of that will no longer be available if Armenia joins the European Union,” Galuzin said.
