On May 18, Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Robert Abisoghomonyan received a delegation led by Nurlan Seitimov, Head of the CIS Observer Mission and Deputy Executive Secretary.
Deputy Foreign Minister Robert Abisoghomonyan referred to the legislative reforms initiated by the Armenian Government aimed at strengthening public trust, as well as improving institutional preparedness and electoral processes.
In the context of the upcoming parliamentary elections in Armenia, the Deputy Foreign Minister reaffirmed Armenia’s commitment to holding free, fair, and transparent elections in accordance with international standards.
The Deputy Foreign Minister also emphasized the Armenian Government’s readiness to ensure all necessary conditions for the effective work of international observers. In this context, the importance of conducting observer missions in a transparent and impartial manner was highlighted.
