“Sometimes simple solutions are very difficult to notice, very difficult to arrive at. I do not know why that is so. Perhaps it is the nature of human thinking. Perhaps it is a product of human psychology,” Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said during the “Yerevan Dialogue,” addressing the question of what the formula for peace is.
“Peace is the formula, peace is the solution, peace is the best condition under which a human being can live, cooperate, and be joyful, be happy.
Although this idea is very simple, the solution is not simple, and this simple solution has not been implemented throughout history in all parts of the world,” he said, adding, “I do not know why we keep repeating these mistakes again and again; I truly do not know. Why do we continue to kill each other?
It is obvious that peace is the condition through which we can live happily and joyfully with one another. Peace is the solution.”
In this context, the Foreign Minister also recalled that throughout history there have been regions that have managed to understand the situation and act in favor of peace, noting that this requires vision and action, vision and steps.
