Ararat Mirzoyan and Jean-Noel Barrot planted an apricot tree in the courtyard of the new building of the Armenian Embassy in Paris as a sign of the lasting friendship between Armenia and France.
As reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Khachatryan emphasized in his speech: “The apricot tree, whose Latin name is Prunus armeniaca, which has been a symbol of Armenia for millennia, is much more than just a fruit tree for our people. It embodies the abundance of our country, the resilience of our nation and the deep connection that unites Armenians with the heritage of their ancestors.”
