More than 20 ships have accumulated at Iran's Chabahar Port on the Gulf of Oman due to a US military blockade, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) said in a statement on X.
The US military said that before Washington imposed such measures, an average of five ships were anchored near or docked at the aforesaid port on a normal day.
More than 20 ships are currently in Chabahar as US forces continue to disrupt economic trade to and from Iran, the statement said.
