“France will always stand by Armenia; the country’s sovereignty is not up for discussion,” French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu stated during a ceremony in Marseille commemorating the victims of the Armenian Genocide.
The French Prime Minister also spoke about the 1.5 million Armenians who fell victim to the Armenian Genocide, as well as those who survived and found refuge in France.
“Armenia lives in our hearts and in our souls. If Armenia has survived this, it will continue to live,” the French official said.
