Narek Mkrtichyan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the United States, delivered a lecture at the School of Public Policy at Pepperdine University at the university’s invitation, Armenia’s Embassy to the United States reports.
The meeting was attended by Provost Jay Brewster, Professor of International Relations and Politics at the Pepperdine University School of Public Policy, Braun Family Dean’s Chair Peter Peterson, and representatives of the faculty.
Ambassador Mkrtchyan addressed the development of Yerevan–Washington relations, the preservation of Armenia’s sovereignty and democratic values, as well as other contemporary topics. During the session, the Ambassador responded to questions from participants, providing an opportunity to discuss a range of issues of bilateral interest.
Welcoming remarks were also delivered by Professor Kiro Skinner.
An agreement was reached to present topics related to the Armenia–U.S. agenda at Pepperdine University in the future.
