Reuters. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said on Thursday (March 26) that the military had eliminated Iran's IRGC navy commander Alireza Tangsiri.
There was no immediate confirmation from Tehran.
An experienced commander in place since 2018, Tangsiri has played a significant part in Iran's closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
