Ambassador Narek Mkrtchyan delivered a lecture at the headquarters of the reputable U.S. RAND Corporation, Armenia’s Embassy to the United States reports.
The meeting was also attended by the Consul General of the Republic of Armenia in Los Angeles, Anna Avetisyan.
During the visit, the Ambassador held meetings with Nancy Staudt, Dean of the RAND School of Public Policy and a vice president at RAND;Senior Engineer and Professor of Policy Analysis Fabian E. Villalobos; Senior Economist and Professor Charles A. Goldman; Senior Policy Researcher Rita Karam; as well as several other researchers and students.
The discussions covered issues related to Armenia–U.S. relations, artificial intelligence, energy, and the field of rare metals.
An agreement was reached to continue cooperation in the same format.
