From February 28 to March 6, citizens of 41 countries departed Iran through Armenia, the Armenian Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Ani Badalyan, said on Saturday.
Badalyan provided a list of the countries whose citizens left the Islamic Republic via Armenia but did not specify the number of people involved: Georgia, Turkiye, Iran, United States, Mexico, Uruguay, Austria, Germany, Italy, Latvia, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Portugal, Ukraine, France, Australia, Belarus, Turkmenistan, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Nepal, New Zealand, China, Tajikistan, Russia, Uzbekistan, Philippines, Guinea, Yemen, Zimbabwe, Iraq, Lebanon, South Africa, Morocco, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Syria.
She also noted that among those transferred by the UAE flights were citizens of other countries who chose to return home via transit flights through Armenia.
