The FlyDubai flight from Dubai to Yerevan, scheduled to depart at 06:55, has been delayed following bombardments targeting Dubai International Airport. The airport schedule now shows the flight delayed until 15:00.
Armenian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ani Badalyan said in a statement that four Armenian citizens registered for the flight have contacted the Armenian Consulate General in Dubai at +971585670993. The Foreign Ministry said it is maintaining contact with the airline.
Badalyan added that a special Muscat-Yerevan flight is planned for 21:30 on March 8. The Armenian Embassy in the UAE and the Armenian Consulate General in Dubai are offering free transportation from the UAE to Oman for passengers taking this flight.
