The Armenian government will provide financial compensation to Armenian citizens whose flights (transit or return) were cancelled amid the escalation in the Middle East and who were forced to purchase new tickets, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan announced on Saturday.
Up to AMD 250,000 will be paid per person.
If a citizen purchased a new ticket at a lower price, the reimbursement will be provided in the amount actually paid.
