Eight flights scheduled for Monday from the UAE, Iran, and Israel to Armenia have been canceled.
In particular, three flights to Yerevan from Dubai (FlyDubai and Emirates), two flights from Sharjah (AirArabia), and one flight each from Abu Dhabi (AirArabia), Tel Aviv (FlyOne) and Iran (Qashm air) will not operate.
Against the backdrop of the Israeli-American military operation against Iran that began on February 28 and the retaliatory strikes launched by the Islamic Republic, the authorities of Bahrain, Iraq, Qatar, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait have decided to completely close their airspace. The parties to the conflict in the region - Israel and Iran - have also closed their airspace.
In addition, partial restrictions have been imposed in Syria, and in Oman, the capital Muscat airport has been temporarily closed.
