Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin said that the issue of building a nuclear power plant occupies an important place on the Moscow-Yerevan agenda and is regularly discussed at various levels.
“Rosatom is ready to begin implementing the project in the shortest possible time, naturally taking into account the wishes of our Armenian partners. There are no viable alternatives in terms of reliable, proven technologies, as well as attractive financial parameters, including construction, subsequent operation, and specialist training,” the diplomat emphasized.
Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that, on the initiative of Vladimir Putin, Moscow is working toward the creation of an architecture of equal and indivisible security in Eurasia. According to Lavrov, the goal is to achieve honest international cooperation based on the principles of mutual understanding, trust, and good neighborliness. He stressed that Russia pays special attention to the CIS, the EAEU, the CSTO, and the post-Soviet space in general.
