U.S. Ambassador to India and White House Special Representative for South and Central Asia Sergio Gor stated at a business forum held in Bishkek that Donald Trump recognizes the importance of Central Asia, including from the perspective of global connectivity.
According to Gor, since the historic peace summit between Armenia and Azerbaijan held in Washington on August 8, the U.S. side has been promoting the TRIPP project.
“It will help ensure seamless transit connectivity from Central Asia through the South Caucasus to the West,” the Ambassador explained.
He added that this is a historic step toward building strong, interconnected economies and establishing peace in the region.
