Armenia's Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan met in Brussels with European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos.
According to a press release from the Foreign Ministry, Mirzoyan and Commissioner Kos discussed a broad range of issues related to the implementation of the Armenia-EU strategic agenda adopted in December 2025.
A thorough discussion was held on the agenda items for the upcoming Armenia-EU Summit, scheduled to take place in Yerevan in May, as well as on forthcoming high-level visits. The meeting highlighted the mutual readiness to implement initiatives aimed at achieving new tangible results.
The discussion also addressed the implementation of the Resilience and Growth Plan, noting with satisfaction that, on the same day, the EU Council decided to provide Armenia with a second-phase €20 million assistance under the European Peace Facility.
Mirzoyan and Kos discussed efforts to advance democratic reforms and strengthen resilience.
The Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs and the EU Commissioner also addressed programs aimed at enhancing regional connectivity and infrastructure development under the peace conditions established between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as other measures to further institutionalize peace.
