Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Armenia, Ivan Orlić, presented his credentials to President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan, the Presidential Office said in a readout.
Congratulating the newly appointed ambassador on assuming his post, President Khachaturyan noted that there is significant, though still unrealized, potential for cooperation between the two countries. He expressed hope that during the ambassador's tenure it would be possible to elevate bilateral relations to a new level, emphasizing that with mutual willingness and consistent efforts, the two countries have broad opportunities to expand cooperation.
Ambassador Orlić thanked the President for the warm reception and kind words, stressing both his own and his country's high regard for Armenia. He noted that his first impressions of Yerevan were very positive, adding that the two peoples and cities share many commonalities.
During the meeting, the sides praised the effective cooperation between Armenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina on various international platforms.
The prospects for further development of bilateral relations were also discussed, with particular attention paid to the considerable potential for cooperation in education, high technologies, tourism, and other areas.
