Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan published a video on his Facebook page, accompanied by the following post: “Let me rush to share my joy with you.”
“Just a short while ago, we concluded the discussion of the annual report of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and there is one figure that I would like to share with pleasure.
In 2025, 8,660 more citizens of the Republic of Armenia entered the territory of our country than exited the Republic of Armenia. Such statistics—regarding the difference between the exit and entry of RA citizens—have been recorded in our country since 2010, and this is the first time we have a positive difference; that is, for the first time, more Armenian citizens have entered the country than have left it.
This is a fact, a figure, for which it is worth congratulating each other and also trying to think about what is the reason behind this number, this statistic. I believe there are two obvious reasons. One is peace, and the second is economic development, or economic development under conditions of peace.
Please note that 2025 is only the first year of peace. Ahead lie many such years of peace and many more new and pleasant statistics like this.
Thank you,” the Prime Minister said.
