Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov received a delegation of the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) headed by Regional Director Carl Kress. The parties discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in the fields of energy, trade, economic investments, and regional connectivity, including the TRIPP Route. Azerbaijani media reported this.
During the meeting, the importance of involving the American private sector in Azerbaijan’s infrastructure and logistics projects was emphasized, and the outcomes of contacts held within the framework of preparations for the Azerbaijan–U.S. Strategic Partnership Charter were also noted.
