Peace talks have reached a deadlock because of the territorial issue, Ukrainian media writes, citing Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s interview with Bloomberg.
“The U.S., Russia, and Ukraine have different views, and there is no unified approach regarding Donbas,” Zelensky said.
He stated that additional discussions are needed on several “sensitive issues,” including ensuring the security of the war-affected country and control over the eastern regions.
He added that Kyiv insists on a separate agreement with its Western allies — primarily the United States — regarding security guarantees.
