U.S. President Donald Trump sent a letter to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, expressing gratitude for being nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize through an initiative by Baku and Yerevan.
“Thank you for your joint letter. This high recognition inspires us to continue our important mission,” Trump noted, emphasizing that as President he sought to end conflicts and strengthen global peace.
He added that he believes in the possibility of achieving the impossible through stable partnerships with other leaders.
