US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Allison Hooker published a post on the X page dedicated to the results of her visit to Azerbaijan. She recalled that she met with the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister and the Assistant to the President, touched upon developments in the region and the Armenia-Azerbaijan settlement process.
"We discussed how we can move forward on President of the USA vision for peace and prosperity in the region. It was a privilege to kick off the U.S.-Azerbaijan Strategic Partnership Charter and to host the U.S. reception at WTDC25 in honor of ITUSecGen Doreen Bogdan-Martin. Doreen has an unmatched record in leading the ITU and we are thrilled to support her candidacy for re-election." she stated.
