Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia Ruben Simonyan received a delegation led by Kobun Sakurada, Program Development Advisor at the Georgia office of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
The second Joint Coordination Committee session of the Program for Strengthening Business Cooperation in Armenia’s High-Tech Industry, implemented by JICA, took place during the meeting, the ministry said in a press release.
Shosei Yamamoto, project leader, presented the initiative’s objectives, key outcomes, and progress achieved since its launch. He noted that the program has demonstrated sustainable development, and that in the current phase, several new initiatives are being implemented to enhance the program’s effectiveness.
The upcoming steps were also discussed, in particular the finalization of the program’s target and performance indicators (KGI and KPI). Both sides clarified several details related to the calculation and monitoring of these indicators.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties highly appreciated the strategic importance of the program as a platform for developing cooperation in the high-tech sectors of both countries, emphasizing the importance of continued partnership and the exchange of experience.
