As previously reported, a train loaded with Kazakh wheat has arrived in Armenia, passing through the territories of Kazakhstan, Russia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia. The train transported around 1,000 tons of wheat.
“The supply of wheat to Armenia became possible as a result of Azerbaijan’s lifting of transport restrictions, which contributes to the restoration of regional communications and the promotion of economic cooperation in the context of the agreements reached in Washington. Recently, wheat purchased from Russia was also transported to Armenia by train through the territories of Azerbaijan and Georgia,” the Government’s statement reads.
