Reuters. Eyewitness video shows a pool overflowing as a magnitude 6.1 earthquake struck Turkey on Monday (October 27), which caused four buildings to collapse according to state media.
Reuters was able to independently verify the location of the video by structures, lamp pole and table which matched satellite images. Reuters was able to verify the date of the footage from the timestamp on the webcam.
The quake was at a depth of 10 km (6.21 miles), the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) said.
State media Anadolu Agency reported that three unused buildings and a two-story shop collapsed during the earthquake. There have been no reported casualties.
