US Central Command Commander, Navy Admiral Brad Cooper met with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Baku.
Cooper welcomed the agreements reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan in Washington on August 8 and the efforts to advance the peace agenda.
According to the Azerbaijani side, Aliyev noted the special role of US President Donald Trump in this process. He emphasized that the documents signed in the White House open up wide opportunities for regional development.
According to Aliyev, Azerbaijan and Armenia have already adapted to peaceful life. The parties touched upon US-Azerbaijani bilateral relations, their development, and exchanged views on the prospects for cooperation in the military and military-technical spheres.
